New Members Wanted for 2023

We are looking for new members who can help us to increase our in person events. Cuidiú is all about you and we can’t do it with out you. If you feel like you could host a coffee morning or afternoon get in touch. We provide the essentials, you provide the space and then the magic of Cuidú and parents supporting each other really happens.

The Irish name Cuidiú means care and support – for all parents with bumps or babes, tots or teens. We are a parent-to-parent support charity run by volunteer parents.

Our mission of ‘information, education and support’ encourages a confident, positive approach to parenting, empowering parents to make informed choices about issues from pregnancy right up to adolescence.

This site provides information about events and activities run by our Dublin South West Branch. These include a breastfeeding support group, antenatal classes, a Parent2Parent / postnatal depression support group, playgroups, parent and baby mornings and more.  Events are open to members and non-members.

Nationally Cuidiú’s motto is education and support for parenthood.

Our aim is to provide support and education for parents and parenthood. Empowering parents to make informed choices through knowledge and mutual support and to progress fulfilled through all stages of parenthood, from pregnancy to raising children to adulthood. This is offered via childbirth education, postnatal support, breastfeeding support and at local meets and events.

Cuidiu provides a supportive background to empower parents to act upon their decisions in five key areas
